What is Yohimbine HCL?

Yohimbine HCL is the hydrochloride salt of yohimbine, a natural alkaloid extracted from the bark of the African tree Pausinystalia yohimbe (Yohimbe bark) or the South American herb Rauwolfia serpentina. It is a selective α2-adrenergic receptor antagonist (alpha-2 blocker).
